President Barack Obama says the global economy is forcing the U.S. to compete "like never before" with other countries and that his administration is moving on many fronts to bring jobs back home. Obama's administration is spending billions of dollars on education and training as well as on improving the infrastructure — such as roads and bridges but also on broadband and other technologies.
